Heifets, Leonid Dr. Leonid Heifets, Denver; Father of Michael (Helen) Heifets and Herman (Lisa) Heifets; Brother of Galina (Edward) Tabachnik; Grandfather of Boris, Solomon, Sarah and Aviva Heifets; Great-grandfather of Zoe and Vivian; Dr. Heifets was a world renowned leader in Tuberculosis Research and head of the clinical/research mycobacteriology laboratory at National Jewish Health.
